Growing demand for vegan products means that every fourth new product launch was vegan. However, for a long time, there was no choice for a vegan-friendly liquid egg alternative that would ‘work’ like the real thing.
Creating a product with the versatility of eggs was a big challenge for food scientists.
After all, an egg replacement would need to be able to help create anything from fluffy sponge cakes to gooey brownies and even golden Yorkshires.
It took Bingham & Jone three years of research and development, 900 iterations and a lot of washing-up later until Crackd was born.
