Chickpeas are a popular component in Mediterranean, North African and Indian cuisine. They can be used in curries, soups and salads. These chickpeas are also the main ingredient of hummus (a creamy dip made from chickpeas, tahini, garlic, oil and lemon juice). Chickpeas also make tasty side dishes. They could be mixed with couscous or tiny grains like quinoa or amaranth then dressed with oil and spices.
These chick peas can also be sprouted. Use a germinator jar for best effect, or simply use a tray with a clear lid. These chick peas will sprout and be ready to eat, without cooking, in around 3 to 5 days. Add them to salads for extra taste and protein!
Packaging is fully home compostable too!
