At this price point, it is more expensive per kilo that beef, of any cut, for the weight, so it is not going to persuade meat eaters to make the change, nor flexitarians.

It is made from plants, plants take MUCH less keeping and processing than meat, so why hold people who value their morals over a barrell? Stop putting profit first and just take a wage….

This is an absolute banger. No matter how I serve it, my entire family of seven (meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans) all adore it. This makes a really delicious beef bourguignon but what is an utter show stopper is the wellington it makes. Will be making this for christmas dinner! I would recommend buying this well in advance of xmas season as it does sell out fast; I like to keep 2 in my freezer just as a failsafe celebration meal (as I am in the middle of nowhere, restaurants that cater to vegans are few and quite a drive away). Portioned correctly this makes about 8 plates of wellington, or you can always split it for different meals for fewer people.

Would really love to try it but unfortunately cannot with a coeliac in the house due to the wheat protein. Please please please make more gluten free vegan products. Gutted!
